Happy Birthday to Pour Me A Story

it's been a year already?!

exactly one year ago today, the very first edition of Pour Me A Story hit inboxes. I was pretty nervous; I didn’t really know what kind of response to expect or whether anyone would care, frankly. now, 12 months later, I’m lucky to count more than 300 folks as subscribers to this newsletter, and plenty of you have expressed your enjoyment at various points along the way.

I know I haven’t sent one for a while, and for that I feel awful guilty. while the intention was never that Pour Me A Story was about me, rather sharing others’ stories, life, health and work stuff have all got in the way pretty consistently over the past few months.

even though this is not the anniversary edition I had hoped to send out, I wanted to let you know that I appreciate each and every one of you for reading, and engaging, and sharing and responding. it means a lot to me that you continue to subscribe and read and comment and hit me up about this little dispatch, and I’m hopeful that I can square away some things in the next few weeks so that I can carve out some time to introduce you to some more interesting people I know.
